Apple has officially seeded release candidate versions of the upcoming visionOS 2.1 and tvOS 18.1 updates to developers and public beta testers, providing an opportunity for testing just a week after the release of the fourth beta versions.
Users can download and install tvOS 18.1 through the Apple TV Settings app, while visionOS 2.1 can be installed by navigating to the Software Update section in the Settings app on the Vision Pro and opting into Beta Updates.
As of now, no significant new features have been identified in these updates, although minor tweaks and bug fixes are expected. Further details will be revealed once Apple publishes the release notes.
These beta updates come alongside iOS 18.1 and macOS Sequoia 15.1, which will introduce the new Apple Intelligence features. However, it is important to note that neither tvOS nor visionOS currently includes any Apple Intelligence functionalities.
